Saturday’s evening of mixology and fun proved to be Fiesta Resort & Spa’s glorious night as its resident bartender, Raymond Macalintal, once again reigned supreme behind the bar.

Macalintal’s concoction, called “Green Revolution,” also bagged the Best in Taste plum, tied with Marianas Resort’s Alain Basco. Macalintal also won the eyes of the judges for the showmanship award.

Third place went to Pacific Islands Club’s Jess Acuavera, while the only female participant, Dayann De Leon of Aqua Resort Club, won second place in the event. First place went to Tang’s Bar’s bartender, Ed Flores.

Other participants in the competition were Mauro Sabate Jr. of Fiesta Resort Hotel, Charlton Lipa of Aqua Resort Club, and Marvin Salamat of Pacific Island Club. Individual participants were Ramil Estaquio and Joseph Solmarin.

Judges for the overall contest were Johnny’s Bar and Grill owner Koji Takeda, KZMI sales manager Bob Webb, Hard Rock Cafe operations manager Tufer Sendon, and UFO president and RP Enterprises owner Roland Pamintuan.
