Workshop on brain research and how it relates to human resources

The Society for Human Resource Management has invited Geri Willis to speak on Brain Research And How It Relates To Human Resources.
Willis has over 40 years experience in the field of education, 22 plus internationally and has conducted numerous workshops on brain research. A few of the items Willis will address are; multiple intelligences, type indicators, such as Myers Briggs and how it relates to the work place, techniques used for training and development and how to retain knowledge, giving employees choices empowers them while getting the results you want, and adding color can affect responses to your announcements. This program will provide managers and HR professionals with information that will help them increase employee morale and motivation and assist with training and development. This unique opportunity will feature a hands-on approach and will require interaction from the audience.
All SHRM members are urged to join their peers for this current and informative conference. Non-members in the business community, whether owners, managers or human resource professionals, are invited to learn more about the Society and to improve their human resource knowledge through the program.
The CNMI Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management is the Commonwealth’s foremost professional forum for discussion and training in Human Resource matters. Recognized as a Superior Merit Chapter, the CNMI branch is composed of human resource professionals from a variety of industries, large and small, who recognize a need for a local society for professionals in the human resources field. The CNMI Chapter is affiliated with the national organization.
The workshop will be held this Thursday, Feb. 23, from 8:30am to 11:30am at the Hyatt Regency Saipan’s Sandcastle. Registration is from 8am to 8:30am and lunch will be served from 11:30am to 12:30pm. The cost of the workshop is $30 for SHRM members and $40 non-SHRM members and presentation materials and lunch.
