Badminton demonstration today
A demonstration of the Olympic sport of badminton will be held today, Saturday, beginning at 5pm at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.
Badminton enthusiasts, players, and interested individuals are urged to attend the event. Membership is open to all.
A meeting will also take place before the demonstration where the planned classification of players and schedule of the tournament will be discussed. Suggestions that will help the group organize will be welcomed during the meeting.

RGA February Ace today
The Refaluwasch Golf Association February Ace of the Month Tournament would be held today, Feb. 18, at the Kingfisher Golf Links.
RGA president Jess Wabol said entry fee for the competition is $30 and slots are available for 16 participants. Check-in time for the October qualifier is 11:30am with tee off set an hour after that at 12:30pm.
Wabol is also inviting other duffers to become members of the club. Membership is open to people of any ethnicity and nationality and the fee is $50 per year.

Fil-Taga Ace of the Month tomorrow
The Fil-Taga Golfers Association will hold its February Ace of the Month Tournament tomorrow, Feb. 19, at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort east course.
According to tournament director and club secretary Manny Po, show time is set at 11:15am with tee-off time scheduled at 11:45am.
Established in 1993, Fil-Taga’s tournaments operate under a computer-controlled handicap system that creates parity among players in the A and B Flights.
A Fil-Taga Ace of the Month champion is crowned monthly. Regular tournaments are scheduled once a month, normally every third Sunday. Green fees are in the $35 to $40 price range for most tournaments.
Slew of SBA tournaments tomorrow and Monday
The Saipan Bowling Association will hold its two-day February Pepsi King and Queen of the Lanes Tenpin Bowling Tournament tomorrow, Feb. 19, and Monday, Feb. 20, at the Capital Bowling Center.
Sunday’s roll-off would begin as early as 4pm, while Monday’s competition starts at 6pm. Awarding ceremonies immediately follow the end of competition on Monday.
Youth bowlers (12 to 19 years old, not bowling in any leagues or averaging less than 160 in any league) are also invited to bowl in SBA’s Prince and Princess of the Lanes Tournament on Sunday. Entry fee is $10.
