While the local sporting community continues to wait for the final word about the future of the 2006 Micronesian Games, the Saipan Softball Association is moving forward with its plans to offer local underhanded artists a four-based canvas by drawing up the 2006 Business Slow-Pitch and Women’s Fast-Pitch Leagues.

According to SSA president Ray Palacios, anyone interested in forming a team or joining a squad should make their way to the Oleai Sports Complex soon, as the Business League will host its first meeting tomorrow night in the conference room of the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium at 6pm, while the Women’s League will follow suit on Friday, Feb. 17, at 6pm as well.

Both leagues will be conducted under the lights at Tan Ge Softball Field, and all Palacios said that should there be a lack interested players and teams, the SSA will move on again to provide Saipan with another round of ball.
