Saipan Walking Association, Inc. will be holding its 5th Annual Valentine’s Walk tomorrow, Feb. 11.

Registration begins at 5:30am and the walk will start from the 13 Fishermen Pavilion at Beach Road, Garapan. The event will take participants northward with the 5-kilometer turning point at Hyatt Regency Saipan intersection and the 10-km turning point at the end of the walkway at the old Puerto Rico dumping site.

In coming back to the starting point, the participants will turn right at Hyatt Regency and walk through Hotel Street and Paseo de Marianas and complete the rest of the course via the Saipan Road Pathway.

There is a registration fee of $6 and it comes with an event T-shirt and refreshments.

“This is our first time to try this course, and always, we are excited to have your presence and thank you for supporting our health enhancing program,” said event coordinator Mario Espeleta.

Like all SAIWAI activities, the IVV will be sanctioning the 5th Annual Valentine’s Walk. IVV members will also receive credit for joining the event.

The IVV has member walking clubs in the U.S., Canada, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, Nepal, Australia, New Zealand, the CNMI, and 29 other European countries, including Germany.
