Marianas Public Lands Authority vice chair Manuel Villagomez remains in good health, with the MPLA belying reports that the official suffered a heart attack amid controversies plaguing the agency.

MPLA spokesman Ed Arriola Jr. said Villagomez went to Guam for medical checkup Wednesday.

“He did not have a heart attack, just mild chest pains,” Arriola said, disclosing that the board official had undergone heart bypass operation some two years ago.

Arriola said Villagomez was still in Guam yesterday. “His health condition is okay.”
