Joeten-Kiyu Public Library to open at 1pm on Monday
The Joeten-Kiyu Public Library will be open this Monday, Jan. 30, at 1pm. Construction and a landscaping project will be taking place in the morning. The library will resume normal hours on Tuesday, Jan. 31. The library apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause to patrons. (PR)

BUMPER2BUMPER at GIG on Feb. 1
CNMI motorists will be treated to an evening of fun and entertainment this coming Feb. 1when GIG Discotheque presents “BUMPER2BUMPER,” a night out for car owners.
Free invites will be given out to the different offices and companies to ensure a big crowd of partygoers.
Saipan’s up-and-coming show band—Grooveline—will take center stage belting out Top 40 favorites and retro hits.
Prizes and souvenir items will be raffled off during the night.

Water outages to affect Nimitz Hill, Santa Rita
SANTA RITA, Guam—A water outage scheduled for Jan. 27 from 8am to 10am will affect Santa Rita customers residing on the northern side of Route 5 from the intersection of Route 5 and Route 2A to the Navy’s New Apra Housing.
The Navy will be calibrating water meters, which will temporarily disrupt water flow.

Praxis seminar on Feb. 1
A Praxis seminar for high school language arts teachers preparing for the Praxis II English Language and Literature Content Knowledge exam will begin on Feb. 1 at 5pm at Saipan Southern High School Room A-102.
