Loosely translated as “touch the heart,” dimsum will surely bring a soothing feeling to everyone who partake of this Chinese delight at the Fiesta Resort & Spa’s “All-You-Can-Eat Dimsum” every Saturday.

The dimsum buffet is only $9.99 and lasts from 11am to 2pm at the Garapan landmark’s New Jade Garden Chinese Cuisine.

A first in the CNMI, according to F&B assistant manager Thomas Welch, the ongoing promo at the newly transformed hotel and spa on Saipan started two Saturdays ago and the reception of the community has been very overwhelming. “We have made every Saturday different at our restaurant,” he said.

Welch said the promo is very reasonable because it includes a buffet of Chinese dimsum that is a sure hit among food aficionados. Dimsum lovers will also be delighted with the live cooking station available at the buffet area.

In addition to the prepared buffet, Welch said, dine-in customers could also enjoy the a la carte dimsum that included in the “all-you-can-eat” promo. Dimsum lovers can choose from at least 10 dimsum dishes when they dine in, said Welch.

The list includes: barbecue bread, shao mai, white Chinese bread, chicken feet, pork ribs, shrimp rice noodle roll, glutinous rice stuffed with chicken, shanghai mini meat buns, stir-fired rice noodle with beef, and stir-fried rice cake.

“To provide a greater value to our loyal customers, we came up with this concept that is very affordable, very extensive, and a better gastronomical alternative on Saturdays,” Welch said, pointing that their Dimsum All-You-Can-Eat promo includes the buffet and the “cook-to-order” menu for only $9.99.

Fiesta Resort & Spa Chinese chef Steve Cao prepares the weekly dimsum menu. VIP cards are also accepted for dine in guests, said Welch.
