HEADSTART TO RESUME CLASSES ON JAN. 17

Saipan Southern High School will be having its Parents Teachers Association meeting on Thursday, Jan. 19, 6:30pm at SSHS cafeteria. (PR)

KES 2Q REPORTS CARDS OUT TODAY

Koblerville Elementary School is informing all parents/guardians that second quarter report cards will be distributed today, Jan. 13, 2006, from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.

In addition, second semester awards will be distributed to qualified students the following Friday, Jan. 20, 2006 in the school cafeteria.

The 1st to 3rd grade award ceremony will begin at 8:45am, and the 4th to 6th grade award ceremony will begin at 12:30pm. Should you have any questions call 237-3622 or 237-3659. (PR)

SSHS Q2 REPORT CARDS OUT TODAY

The 2nd quarter report cards of students enrolled at Saipan Southern High School would be out today, Jan. 13, from 4 pm to 7pm in the Manta Ray Café. (PR)

TINIAN JUNIOR/SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Tinian Junior/Senior High School is encouraging parents and/or guardians to volunteer and/or become members of the Parents Advisory Council. If interested, call school principal Florine Hofschneider at 237-6143 or 237-4161. There will be a PAC meeting on Jan. 17, 2006, at 3:30pm in the library.

School handbooks from previous years are still available for parents and/or guardians. Visit the office and get your copy as a lot of information are still applicable. Board policies and procedures are also available online. Log in at www.pss.cnmi.mp.

The entrance and exits of the high school have been changed. The entrance has been relocated to the street going to the public cemetery. Exit will be the street between Hungshun and Manglona’s residence. (PR)

7th graders: Go to the same vocational education class this week. Your teachers will tell you which class to go to next.

Students, beginning 3rd. quarter, Home Room will be your first period teacher everyday. Day B is still your first period teacher from 8:00-8:15. Attendance will be taken, the bulletin will be read, and virtues will be discussed. 1st and 5th periods will begin at 8:20am. (PR)
