Police arrested on New Year’s Day a man and two male juveniles who were allegedly involved in a burglary at the Trench Tech Shop in Garapan where 70 T-shirts worth $1,400 were stolen.

Suspects Seiichi Aoki and the two juveniles were taken to the Superior Court yesterday for a bail hearing.

Aoki was charged with burglary, theft, and criminal trespass. A $15,000 cash bail was set for his temporary liberty.

The case against the minors was sealed.

Trench Tech reported to the Department of Public Safety on Dec. 3, 2005 that its warehouse was burglarized and 70 Fokai and Trench Tech T-shirts were stolen.

The shop called DPS again on Dec. 30 after a staff got a tip as to who were responsible for the break-in.

Apparently, the suspects gave some of the T-shirts to friends and sold the other shirts to two stores in Dandan.

Detective George Fleming David said the parents of the juveniles consented to police’s questioning of the minors.

David said the minors admitted they were involved in the incident and implicated Aoki.

The suspects also stole two bicycles from the shop, police said.
