UOG SR. ROTC PROGRAM TO BEGIN AT NMC

The University of Guam will be offering their Senior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Program on the Northern Marianas College Campus starting in late January of 2006.

The program, focusing on leadership development for potential Army officers, will be held on Fridays and Saturdays beginning Friday, Jan. 27, 2006. Class times will run from 6am to 4pm utilizing one weekend per month.

To establish an appointment time, phone the NMC Community Development Institute at 234-5498 extension 1005/1030 or 1014.

2006 Math Placement Tests

SPRING 2006

Jan. 3: 10am to 12 noon and 5pm to 7pm, Room D-1 (NMC Campus)

Jan. 5: 10am to 12 noon and 5pm to 7pm, Room D-1 (NMC Campus)

Jan. 10: 10am to 12 noon, Room D-1 (NMC Campus)

Jan. 12: 5pm to 7pm, Room D-1 (NMC Campus)

SUMMER 2006

May 16: 10am to 12 noon and 5pm to 7pm, NMC Campus

May 18: 10am to 12 noon and 5pm to 7pm, NMC Campus

Things you need to bring:
Picture ID, pen/pencil
Calculator (Optional. May not be shared)

Acceptable Picture ID’S (NO ID – NO TEST)
NMC Picture ID (needed to be entered into the system)
Driver’s License
Passport
Other school picture ID
CNMI Immigration Card

No reservations. First come, first served basis only. Limited seats available. No admittance to the testing room will be allowed after the starting time listed above. Math placement slips are good for one year from test date and a placement test can only be taken once a year.

ENGLISH PLACEMENT TESTS SET

The following is the schedule of the upcoming English Placement Tests at the Northern Marianas College:

SPRING SEMESTER 2006

Wednesday, Jan. 4: Room D-1, 1pm-4pm

Friday, Jan. 6, 2006: Room D-1, 5pm-8 pm

SUMMER SEMESTER 2006

Wednesday, April 5, 2006: Room D-1, 1pm-4pm

Friday, April 7, 2006: Room D-1, 5pm-8pm

Things to bring include a valid photo ID and pencils.

There is a $25 fee for the English Placement Test that must be paid in advance at NMC’s Finance Office (Monday-Friday, 9am – 4pm). Students will not be admitted to the testing room without proof of payment-a receipt for either the placement test fee or the NMC application fee. This $25 fee is applicable to the NMC application for all students.
