The Northern Marianas College Registration Committee’s members are currently reviewing the results of the Registration Survey conducted during Fall 2005 semester.

NMC president Tony V. Deleon Guerrero said the committee is taking steps to improve services to students this upcoming Spring semester.

“A major change designed to make registration easier for students at NMC-Saipan is to centralize the final steps of registration in D-1,” he said in a media release.

The administration wants the students to be able to sit down and wait in air-conditioned comfort once they have finished registration. While the students are waiting, staff from the Office of Admissions and Records, Financial Aid, and the Finance Office will finish processing their paperwork.

“All three offices are working together to see that registration processing is easier and quicker than in the recent past,” said

He said all offices involved with the start of a new semester are looking to refresh their customer service skills and find ways to better communicate registration information within the college and to students.

The Registration Committee is looking to repeat the survey it administered last Fall for Spring 2006. Delon Guerrero said steps taken to improve registration as well as the results of the next survey would be made available by the Registration Committee.
