AMP Visitors Center changing operating hours

American Memorial Park would like to thank the public for their patronage of the new Visitors Center. Since it opened in May 2005, there have been over 22,000 people who came through the doors and see the Commonwealth’s newest facility.
Effective Jan. 1, 2006, however, the Visitors Center’s new hours for public visitation will be Tuesdays through Sundays, from 10am to 5pm. The center will be closed on Mondays. Thursdays will have extended evening hours with the center closing at 8pm. Extended Thursday evening hours are to coincide with the Garapan Street Market and AMP will schedule special events to be scheduled at the Visitors Center on Thursday evenings throughout the year.
School groups interested in touring the Visitors Center in the mornings before 10am should make special arrangements with park management.
Please also note that the Visitors Center and American Memorial Park administration operations will be closed on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2005, and New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, 2006. The Visitors Center will be open on the day after Christmas, Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, but the administration offices will be closed.
