SUNDAY IS BALLROOM NIGHT AT GIG

Want to work up a sweat? How about joining Saipan’s ballroom enthusiasts dance the night away every Sunday night at GIG?

Angel International School of Dance collaborates with Saipan’s Premier Dance Club in coming up with this event starting at 9pm.

If ballroom dancing is your thing, GIG is the place to be every Sunday night. Belting out your favorites mixes are DJs Virgin Keith and DJ DK. The repertoire includes foxtrot, reggae, swing, salsa, rhumba, boogie, tango, samba and waltz. For beginners, professional dance instructors will teach you the ABC in ballroom dancing.

For free dance lessons and information, call 235-7770 and look for Saipan’s ballroom master Angel Santos from 9am to 11am and 3pm to 5pm.

WSR HAS NEW TELEPHONE NUMBERS

William S. Reyes Elementary has switched to a telephone program called SHORETEL. This program is designed for Internal Telephone use within the WSR Campus.

The telephone numbers have changed. However, you can still dial 664-3971 and 664-3972. Please make a note of it. Every classroom has a telephone extension number. Your child’s teacher will provide the classroom extension number through their monthly classroom newsletter.

If you want to speak to the teacher, you can dial the school directly using the extension number. Teachers will not be able to return your call until after school. Please refrain from making a classroom telephone call during instructional time. For emergency calls, contact the office numbers. All calls are monitored.

Any time you call the school office, we will entertain your call. If a call is for a teacher, we will forward your call to a voice mail. Again, the teacher can retrieve it after school. The office telephones can call out anytime. This program is a first of its kind for PSS and we are the first school to receive this telephone project/service. Eventually, all the public schools will have telephones inside the classrooms.

The new mainline/telephone numbers for WSR offices are:
Secretary’s Office (670) 237-3542 or (670) 664-3971
Principal’s Office (670) 237-3541 or (670) 664-3972
