Kudos to Sen. Reyes
I commend Sen. Pete Reyes for his quick action on the issue on the proposed Safe Haven regulations. We want more of the community to get involve, join hand in hand with the senator to fight the possible disastrous effect on this plan.
Sen. Reyes has point out all of the possible adverse effects toward the community if this regulation would take into effect. I’m for one, is oppose to this regulation. I’m not much of a writer, but let me get to the point, “…let’s cut the BS and just do the right thing leaders. As for AG Brown, please review your code of ethics for the sake of the CNMI.”
It never ceaseds to amaze me that we could stretch the law this far for self interest and yet we had more complication when we assisted the stateless children who were born on our very own soil. Some have to join the military, fight in Iraq, just to become U.S. citizens.
I won’t be surprised if money is involved in it. Again, senator, I admire your instinct and continue the good work. And lastly, don’t feel bad that you didn’t join us in IRAQ, as I remember your effort to volunteer for reenlistment was a morale boost to us. You are fighting another war over there. You see, God has a different mission for you!
