Crime Stoppers responds to Tinian holiday heist
Crime Stoppers would like to respond to Marquina Florine Mendiola Hofschneider from Tinian regarding her letter to the editor on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005. More specifically we guess we would like to respond to the same person or people who she was addressing. The thief, or thieves, that literally stole Christmas.
How low can a thief go? Well, much lower than you could ever conceive possible. The theft of family Christmas presents would surely rank very near the bottom.
If you really want to feel the pain then please read Marquina Hofschneider’s letter to the editor. Her words have expressed it most clearly. Look deeper into her letter and examine the good faith, work hard, family values that her parents have so obviously taught their children. How to grow up the right way, work hard and do the right thing.
Well, Crime Stoppers is hoping that someone will do the right thing and call Crime Stoppers so that Crime Stoppers can give the tip/s to law enforcement and hopefully this case can be quickly solved and the presents returned to this family BEFORE Christmas.
Someone, or a group of people, knows who stole the Hofschneider Christmas. CALL CRIME STOPPERS at 234-PARA (7272). Crime Stoppers pays rewards up to $1,000 cash for information leading to an arrest.
Perhaps if whoever stole the Hofschneider Christmas, was aware of the fact that Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to the arrest of persons responsible for committing crimes, they could have “earned” their money for Christmas by calling Crime Stoppers. If their tip would have led to an arrest Crime Stoppers would have paid them a cash reward. And the crime rate would have gone down rather than up. Then they could have gone out and bought their own presents.
Do the “right thing,” call Crime Stoppers today, turn in a criminal, solve crime and earn cash rewards for doing the “right thing.”
To the Hofschneider family: Crime Stoppers would hope that we can get some quality tips and perhaps the police can restore your Christmas. NO ONE feels good about being a crime victim. We share your personal sorrow.
Anyone can submit their secure anonymous tips, about this crime or any crime, by calling the Crime Stoppers Tips line at 234-7272 (PARA) or log onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nmicrimestoppers.com and follow the “submit a tip” navigation buttons.
