The Marianas Lottery increased its grand prize to $100,000—just in time for the holidays.

The total prize won with the lottery has reached over $531,000. The last grand prize winner won the jackpot around the same time last year right before Christmas. The 2nd and 3rd prize payouts remain the same with the Bonus Ball at $5,000.

Customers still have more chances to play for the $100,000 grand prize with lottery drawings every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Tickets are still $1 per game and are sold at the Marianas Lottery office in the Joeten Shopping Center and at authorized vendors throughout the island, which include all the Joeten stores.

On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, sales close at 6:30pm with the live lottery drawings at 7:30pm. Tune in to Power 99 FM to hear the winning numbers.

All drawings are conducted in the same manner with the independent accounting firm of Ernst & Young continuing to perform agreed upon procedures so customers can be assured of honest and fair lottery drawings.

Also, a reminder that all unclaimed prizes are forfeited to the CNMI government after 60 days from the draw date and all winners are kept confidential. For more information call the Marianas Lottery at 235-7788 or 235-6633. (PR)
