Lynn Teregeyo won her third Pepsi Queen of the Lanes Tenpin Bowling Tournament by dominating the November edition of the roll-off on the strength of two 200-pinfall games Sunday at the Capital Bowling Center.

Teregeyo, who was also victorious in January and April, got off on the right foot when she tattooed 192 pins on her very first trip to the wooden lanes of the Garapan facility on the tournament’s first day of competition.

The Board of Professional Licensing employee took a step back when she toppled a pedestrian 161 pins in her second try. The 38-year-old lady bowler, however, came back with a flurry in her third and fourth attempts, rolling fantastic scores of 228 and 210 to finish with 791 pinfalls, good for a 197.75 average. Coincidentally, Teregeyo’s third game represented the month’s high score for the division.

Teregeyo said she just tried to be consistent and play relaxed during games, which seemed to work very well considering she’s the winningest woman bowler as of the moment in the Saipan Bowling Association circuit.

Elena Soll came in a far second with 698 pinfalls to her name. She rolled a series of 154, 185, 182, and 177 to leave with a 174.5 average Sunday. Cindy Taitano wound up third after she came away with 668 pinfalls Monday following roll-offs of 161, 169, 151, and 203.

Teregeyo earned $50 for her win, while Soll and Taitano received $30 and $20 consolation prizes, respectively.

Cora Muna was 13 pins back of the leaders with a total of 655, while Vicky Santos rounded out the top 5 after she recorded a score of 651. The women’s division had a total of 18 entries.
