NMA Cross Country tomorrow at CPA field

Northern Marianas Athletics is reminding all interested athletes that it will host the 2005 All Schools Cross Country Championships tomorrow, Nov. 12, at the Commonwealth Ports Authority Airport Field.

Boys and girls will be divided in 9-and-under, 11-and-under, 13-and-under, 18-and-under age groups and compete for the trophies and ribbons associated with winning the endurance title.

According to NMA, children in the 9-and-under and 11-and-under age groups will run one mile, while those in the 13-and-under and 18-and-under will leg-out 2.1 miles.

Registration begins at 3pm with the first race expected to get underway at 4pm. Participants are advised to get there as early as possible for warm-ups and stretching prior to the event.
