The island’s gay and lesbian community didn’t hold anything back when they came out in full force Sunday night for the Coming Out Party at Saipan’s premiere discotheque, GIG.

According to the club manager Frederick Santos, it was the best Sunday night party the club had ever had.

The party was not only attended by the GLBT community members, Santos said, as half of the partygoers were straight men and women who joined in and contributed to the success of the revelry.

Part of the night’s shindig, a Gay Lip Sync competition, was also held with Virallicci’s Patrick Kabau-an getting the panel of judges’ nod with his two-faced rendition of the Broadway hit Pipa.

Venus Jenio of Arabian Salon won second place with her Jennifer Lopez impersonation, while Tammy Torres’ Diana Ross impression with a twist—as he sang a Jennifer Holliday song—won third place.
