Trader sued for illegal employment

The Attorney General’s Office has charged another businessman with unlawfully employing 33 illegal aliens.

Forty-four-year-old businessman Kim Dong Kun became the third businessman charged by the AGO with employing illegal aliens on Saipan last Oct. 6.

Assistant attorney general Ian Catlett charged Kim at the Superior Court with 33 counts of employment of illegal aliens, saying the trader employed 33 persons last Oct. 6 while knowing that these persons did not have lawful documentation and authority to be so employed.

The 33 aliens included Xie Bing Xin, Sha Yun Bing, Zhang Zhan Shan, Cai Ming Zhi, Zhang Cheng Dong, Lin Ya Wen, Zhuang Kai Wa, Li Jian Xin, Gong Zhen Ming, Zhao Hong Ji, Xu Xin Jao, Zhuang Zhi Wei, Cai Zhi Song, Liu Zhen Hong, Fang Liang Yu, Li Bo Lin, Zheng Yu Jia, Fan Hai Ming, Cao Jin, and Zhou Zhi Hua. The rest included Luo Cheng Hua, Chen Kai Xin, Shang Guo Bin, Liu Qing Quan, Li Zhang Qi, Ma Yao Wei, Jing Zhi Qiang, Jin Chun Song, Luo Guo Rong, Zheng Yong Hua, Zhang Ya Peng, Zhou Tie Gang, and Zheng Tian Hua.
