Let’s all agree that BB is still the team to beat
I’m not afraid to tell my friends that Gov. Juan N. Babauta and Lt. Gov. Diego T. Benavente are still the most charming candidates to win this coming election. Believe it or not but lock up at the sun and observe carefully where most of the rays are striking to. You will notice that 72 percent of them are striking brightly to the political environment of Babauta and Benavente.
There’s no question that all four gubernatorial candidates are qualified to lead the people of the Northern Marianas. But which single one is experienced, has been experienced, will be experienced, and will have been experienced. If we change an experienced mechanic now, in the middle of an unfinished job, which step will the next inexperienced mechanic start? This is to say that the Northern Marianas will never move forward to reach its destination, completely, because every time we reach number 99 we stop and throw everything away.
So when are we going to start learning our lessons? It’s simple! Let’s start this coming election. Let’s all agree that we are going to vote Babauta and Benavente again because the CNMI has a lot to gain from their leadership. Let’s all agree that Babauta and Benavente are the best friends of President Bush and Rep. Miller. Let’s all agree that Babauta and Benavente are still the livesavers of another Typhoon Chaba in the future. Let’s all agree that Babauta and Benavente will never compete against the lone casino on Tinian. Let’s all agree that Babauta and Benavente will never close down our Medical Referral Program. Let’s all agree that Babauta and Benavente will set up in the CNMI our own National Guard. And let’s all agree that Babauta and Benavente will still garner the majority votes this coming election.
