Two couples are facing separate lawsuits at the Superior Court for alleged nonpayment of flowers and wedding services.

Design Florist filed with the court Thursday two separate civil actions against couples Patricia and Joseph Aldan and Carmen and Yiyuk Henry.

Design Florist’s attorney Michael White alleged that the Aldans still owe the company some $20,708.79 for flowers, wedding services, and other related merchandise.

Similarly, White said the Henrys allegedly owe Design Florist some $21,196.90.

White said both couples failed to pay those principal amounts to Design Florist despite demands, asking the court to compel them to pay the company. (John Ravelo)
