The Saipan Golf Association is following the parade of duffers taking advantage of the nice weather from the fairways to the greens this weekend by holding its October Ace of the Month.

According to SGA secretary Larry Guerrero, some of the island’s top strikers will be on hand this Sunday, Oct. 23, at Laolao Bay Golf Resort to vie for the low score and the SGA’s top billing on the beautiful and challenging east course

Last month, Ray Salas emerged from a field of 30 strikers and slicers to take the September honors at the Kingfisher Golf Links aided by his 26-handicap that earned him a net score of 63 to tie Max Castro. The duo dueled in the resulting playoff hole, but Castro scored a double-bogey to give Salas the Ace.

The show time for this weekend’s outing is 8am with the first tee time at 8:33am.
