The Attorney General’s Office yesterday charged another trader with unlawfully employing a nonresident worker.

Facing the charge was 36-year-old Emanuel D. Pamintuan, records at the Superior Court showed.

Assistant attorney general Ian Catlett said Pamintuan knowingly employed one Alpine A. Pineda last Oct. 6, while knowing that the person did not have lawful documentation and authority to be employed.

The court yesterday summoned Pamintuan to appear before it on Oct. 31.

Last Tuesday, the AGO charged another businessman, 51-year-old William Wagan, of employing at least six illegal aliens on Saipan last Oct. 6, including Huang Ming Qing, Wang Li Jiang, Liu Dong Fan, Gao Li Yin, Li Zhi Yang, and Li Zhi Hui.
