The CNMI Scholarship Office is reminding all interested students/parents of upcoming events relating to scholarships and colleges.

UPCOMING PRESENTATIONS:

Hawaii Pacific University

Oct. 19, 2005-Presentation for graduate degrees offered at HPU

Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions for HPU Joe Salas will be hosting an information session regarding the Hawaii Pacific University’s Graduate and Professional Programs, at the Multi Purpose Center from 5:30pm to 8pm. He is extending an invitation for all persons wishing to pursue a Graduate Studies to attend.

CNMI scholarship program upcoming deadlines:

Start early and avoid the rush! The deadline for submission of the CNMI Scholarship Applications for this upcoming Winter/Spring 2006 terms is fast approaching. Applications are available at our Capitol Hill Office between the hours of 7:30am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Those unable to stop by are encouraged to access the application online at www.cnmischolarship.com Applications must be submitted into our office or postmarked by the Dec. 15, 2005 deadline.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION:

Eastern Oregon University

Eastern Oregon University has recently announced a new Scholarship Opportunity being offered to upcoming 2006 High School Graduates. Known as the Valedictorian/Salutatorian Award this Scholarship will pay for up to four years of tuition and other educational fees. Gates Millennium Scholars

Applications for the 2006-2007 Gates Millennium Scholarship Program are now available at the CNMI Scholarship Office for pick-up. Submission requirements are as indicated on the application. Deadline to apply is Jan. 13, 2006.

HPU offers eleven master degrees and several online graduate certificates: Master of Business Administration; Master of Arts in Communication; Master of Science in Information Systems; Master of Arts in Global leadership; Master of Arts in Organizational change; Master of Arts in Human Resource management; Master of Arts in Diplomacy and Military studies; Master of Arts in Teaching English as a second language; Master of Education in secondary education; Master of Science in Nursing; and Master of Social work.
