Live fire training, environmental survey at Farallon de Mendenilla
The Emergency Management Office, in conjunction with U.S Naval Forces Marianas, is informing the public that the U.S. military will be conducting live fire training and environmental survey at the island of Farallon De Mendenilla.
The schedule dates and time are as follow:
Oct. 6–7 from 9am to 2:30pm Live fire
Oct. 11–13 from 8am to 7pm Live fire
Oct. 17–19 from 12am to 11:59pm Environmental survey
Oct. 20–21 from 12am to 11:59pm Environmental survey
The general location of this activity will be on the island of Farallon De Mendenilla Training Areafrom 15,000 feet mean sea level on a 10 nautical mile radius on all quadrants.
Due to the danger imposed by this activity, EMO is advising the public—especially fishermen, commercial pilots, and tour operators—to stay away from this location during the time and dates indicated.
