The CNMI Scholarship Office is reminding all interested persons/parents of the upcoming events relating to scholarships and colleges.

HAWAII PACIFIC UNIVERSITY
Presentation for Undergraduate Degrees
Assistant director of Admission for HPU Larry Kekaulike would like to invite the public, aspiring students, and their parents to an HPU night presentation that would be held at the Northern Marianas College Student Center on Oct. 12, 6pm-8pm. Kekaulike will be discussing the undergraduate programs/scholarships offered at HPU.
Presentation for Graduate Degrees
Assistant director of Graduate Admissions for HPU Joe Salas will be hosting an information session regarding the Hawaii Pacific University’s Graduate and Professional Programs at the Multi-Purpose Center on Oct. 19, 5:30pm-8pm. He is extending an invitation for all persons wishing to pursue graduate studies to attend.
CNMI SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM UPCOMING DEADLINES
The deadline for submission of the CNMI Scholarship Applications for this upcoming Winter/Spring 2006 Terms are fast approaching. Applications are available at the CNMI Scholarship Office’s Capitol Hill office between 7:30am and 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Those unable to stop by are encouraged to access the application online at www.cnmischolarship.com. Applications must be submitted to the CNMI Scholarship Office or postmarked by the Dec. 15, 2005 deadline.
SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
Eastern Oregon University
Eastern Oregon University has recently announced a new scholarship opportunity being offered to upcoming 2006 high school graduates. Known as the Valedictorian/Salutatorian Award, this scholarship will pay up to four years of tuition and other educational fees. Gates Millennium Scholars
Applicants for the 2006-2007 Gates Millennium Scholarship Program are now available at the CNMI Scholarship Office for pick-up. Submission requirements are as indicated on the application. Deadline to apply is Jan. 13, 2006. (PR)
