Santa Remedios Fiesta on Oct. 9
Santa Remedios Parish pastor, Fr. Nonoy E. Recaido, Jr., the Parish Pastoral Council, and the parishioners of Sta. Remedios Parish in Tanapag would like to invite everybody to join them in celebrating their patronal fiesta on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2:30pm.
A novena has been scheduled at 2pm, followed by a Holy Mass at 2:30pm. A procession would be held after the Mass, with the festivities concluding with a dinner in Tanapag. (PR)
KagES reminders
for October
Parents and guardians of students attending Kagman Elementary School are reminded of the following school activities for the month of October.
* Monday, Oct. 10 Columbus Day. No School for all KagES students.
* Wednesday, Oct. 12 PTA meeting, 6:30pm at the school cafeteria.
* Thursday, Oct. 13 Report Card Day, 2:30pm to 4:30pm. All teachers, SPED, Reading Resource, and Bilingual teachers will be available for parent conferences.
The school is also reminding parents and guardians that Kagman Elementary School T-shirts are available for sale at the school office.
KagES is also reminding them that students are not allowed on campus before 7am during school days. All students should also be picked up at 2:15pm after school.

Nepalese to mark Happy Vijaya Dashami festival
All Nepalese on Saipan are invited to attend their Happy Vijaya Dashami festival celebrations on Oct. 12 at the Chamolinian Cultural Village in Garapan.
Those who want to attend must see the following people for confirmation of attendance:

Application for absentee voting due Oct. 26
The Commonwealth Election Commission is informing all registered voter who will be away from the Northern Mariana Islands on election day that they need to apply to vote by absentee voting in order to receive a ballot on which they could cast their vote. The commission will only send ballots to those who apply to vote by absentee voting.
Individuals who registered to vote from outside the Northern Mariana Islands and who will be away from the Northern Mariana Islands on election day must still need to apply to vote by absentee voting in order to be provided a ballot that they could cast and return by mail to the Election Commission’s mailing address.
All requests to vote by absentee voting must be completed and submitted to the commission by Oct. 26, 2005. Applications to vote by absentee voting may be downloaded and printed at http://www.votecnmi.gov.mp/downloads/absentee_ballot.pdf and the application may be sent to the commission by mail or by facsimile.
