Enduring an economic triple whammy
The fuel surcharge has definitely depleted family pocketbooks in unthinkable ways, the first economic whammy.
The effect of Japan Airline’s withdrawal is the second whammy to which our men of wisdom have failed to plan for the “unseen.”
The fuel surcharge would force more apparel factories to close down, the third whammy.
The combined effects of these three whammies have sent investments tumbling while revenue generation slides further south.
There would be far less for far more, when the adverse impact hits those locals who were recently terminated by JAL and Continental Airlines, not to mention locals who would lose their jobs as factories shut down.
The “unseen” simply requires vision or the ability to see beyond what’s visible. This separates real versus perceptual or artificial leaders.
I see joblessness skyrocketing, retirees failing to receive their checks, what with $400 million in unfunded liability, payless Fridays for government employees; and crushing hardship for most, if not, all taxpayers.
Be part of the solution this November. Say adios to being part of the problem! Otherwise, we’d all be selling used household goods for the next family meal between As Gonno and As Matuis.
