CNMI LIBRARY COUNCIL MEETING TOMORROW

The CNMI Library Council would be holding a meeting tomorrow, Oct. 6, 5:30pm at the Northern Marianas College, Building N, VTC Room 5.

NEW HOURS FOR JOETEN-KIYU PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Joeten-Kiyu Public Library will be open on Wednesdays beginning October 2005. The new library hours will be Mondays to Fridays, from 10am to 6pm, and Saturday from 9am to 4pm.

OES PTSA MEETING ON OCT. 11

The Parents-Teachers-Students Association of Oleai Elementary School will have a meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 6pm in the school’s cafeteria. Everyone is encouraged to attend the PTSA meeting. (PR)

UPCOMING MHS ACTIVITIES

To all parents and legal guardians of Marianas High School students:

– As a result of school days missed due to Typhoon Nabi, make-up days are as follows: Nov. 1, Dec. 22 and 23 (There will be classes on these days).

– Open House/Report Card Distribution will be on Wednesday, Oct. 19 (4-6pm).

FRAMINGHAM MASTERAL PROGRAM NOW OPEN

The Community Development Institute said that registration is now open for cohorts 3 and 4 for the Framingham State College Master of Education elective course Computers in Education. Registration is ongoing through Oct. 7.

Register at the CDI office in Building P at the Northern Marianas College between the hours of 7:30am and 4:40pm, Monday through Friday. For more information, contact Velma Iglesias at 234-5498 Ext. 1005, 1030, or 1014.
