Q. What would you consider the top three issues or concerns facing the CNMI that demand immediate action from our government leaders?

a. Expose CNMI to other countries.
b. Expand and improve our CNMI College to foreign students.

Q. What is your vision for the Commonwealth? And what are the steps that must be taken to achieve that vision?

A. As your candidate for Mayor of Saipan, I promise to do my utmost to better the quality of life on our beautiful island by:

* forging and establishing an effective and functional collaboration between the Office of the Mayor and the private and public sector.

* seeking additional funds for effective and efficient public services.

* forging and establishing mutually productive relationship with our municipalities regionally, nationally, and internationally.

* seeking ways and means to strengthen or to empower the Office of the Mayor to better serve the people responsively.

* transforming the Office of the Mayor into a fiscally lean entity, yet maintaining its effectiveness, efficiency and responsiveness.

* effecting the completion of island signages.

* assisting and working closely with the schools.

* implementing the Stray Dog Program.

* removing junk cars and other eyesores in the villages.

* making the Office of the Mayor responsive to the plight of our local employees in the private sector.

* seeking ways and means to better assist our local farmers and fishermen.

* initiating action to begin the construction of the Little League Baseball Sports Complex.

* actively supporting sports and academic programs.

* maintaining the SHEFA Program.

* seeking ways and means to allow the local residents to be more involved in the welcoming and hosting of our visiting military personnel or any other group visitors.

* establishing programs to improve out tourism industry.

* seeking ways and means to better clean, improve and beautify our landscapes based on our unique way to attract all, especially our visitors.

A. The community needs to be more involved on issues relating to community and social events. How can that shift in thinking be achieved? Publications and advertisements.
