Palacios tops BoG employees

HAGATNA, Guam—Gus Palacios, a Bank of Guam loan officer in the Saipan branch, bested a field of over 375 bank employees to earn the coveted “Employee of the Year” honors at the bank’s President’s Award Ceremony.

For this honor, Palacios was given a check for $1,000, a letter of award and a certificate from the Bank of Guam.

Palacios joined the Bank of Guam 1991 and was in loan collection until 1994. He rejoined the bank in 1996 and is currently an assistant cashier/credits officer.

Palacios has been involved in local sports, including baseball and basketball. He is married to the former Robin Lizama, and they have two children. (PR)
