Marriage Encounter Weekend in Oct.
The Worldwide Marriage Encounter Organization announced yesterday that it will be conducting a Marriage Encounter Weekend from Oct. 21 though 23 for married couples who want to improve communication and strengthen their marriage.
The weekend is open to all married couples regardless of age.
The special weekend will be held at the Hotel Riviera Saipan in Fina Sisu. The registration fee is only $50 per couple and includes room for the weekend, all meals and drinks.
“Most importantly, the time spent together is priceless,” the group said, adding that the weekend is to focus on one’s relationship between spouses and on their relationship with God.
“The ME Weekend is not a retreat, marriage clinic, nor group sensitivity. It’s a unique approach aimed at revitalizing marriage. This is a time to be alone together, rediscover each other and focus on your relationship for an entire weekend. Every marriage deserves that kind of attention,” it said. “Bishop Thomas A. Camacho said it best when he wrote in his proclamation, ‘[W]e teach by example of our lives.’ A strong marriage is a great example of commitment and family strength for all children.”
