Jay Cabrera’s rebuttal

I don’t think taxpayers want to chew on nails forcibly shoved down their throats by an administration that failed to pay its utility bill of some $18 million.

If you’re a realist, your fancy professorial-like use of statistics just doesn’t add up against hardship forced against taxpayers by this administration. The greater statistics that speak volumes on this issue is found in the monthly utility bills of ALL taxpayers. It’s the only statistic that you need to know.

If planning were the forte of this administration, then it would have ensured regular maintenance of power generators since four years ago. The combined emergency declaration and sputtering generators today is a tale that it failed to institute regular maintenance. One plus one is two, not 22!

Where’s the planning in this colossal negligence? Eh, this is only regular maintenance work, a simple matter that doesn’t require the brains of a rocket scientist. You want real statistics? Read your monthly utility bills and ask yourself whether it is right that you shoulder another’s failure to pay his utility bills. If you subscribe to this nonsense, I’ll send you my utility bills forthwith so you pay for it, too.

Finally, look around you and listen to public sentiment on this and other collateral issues. It is riddled with frustration and no amount of statistics is going to ease the hardship taxpayers have to endure as a direct result of this administration’s failure to pay its utility bills. Oh, I’d make sure you get a copy of the book called, How to Lie with Statistics for Christmas. Have a nice day!
