The subject matter must be photos that can tell a story about an aspect of one’s island’s culture, such as cultural dances, artifacts, etc. Identifiable individuals appearing in the photograph must sign a model’s release to be submitted with the entry.

Deadline for submission of entries is on Oct. 28, 2005.

Entries must be identified with the following: photographer’s name, high school and grade level. Each entry must also include a title, brief description and location of the photo.

Winners will be awarded $200 for the cover photo and $100 for each month’s photo. Winning entries will be featured in the 2006 Bank of Guam calendar, which will be available in December 2005. Some 10,000 copies of the calendar will be distributed throughout all the bank’s branches.
