While the music may have stopped at the renowned T.G.I.T at the Dai-Ichi Hotel Saipan Beach, the Big Beats Band has found another way to keep the music playing, this time as the regular act of the G.I.G. Discotheque starting this Wednesday.

G.I.G. manager Fred Santos said the most popular band on the island would be playing tomorrow night at 8:30pm. The former T.G.I.T. regular will have a month to prove to the G.I.G. crowd and partygoers that they could bring the house down again and liven up the CNMI party nights every week.

Dubbed as G.I.G. Wednesday Night Wildness at G.I.G., Santos said the band is part of the marketing strategies he is implementing at the premier discotheque on the island. He said the club would also be testing two other bands to perk up lonely nights in Garapan.

Tomorrow’s revelry will also feature resident DJ Dr. Love who would alternate between sets with the Big Beats Band. The band itself will showcase its usual repertoire of Top 40 hits, retro music and R&B favorites, plus a new set that will surely bring fire to the grand launching of Wednesday Night Wildness at G.I.G.

The Wednesday Night Wildness is co-presented by Rota Crystal Purified Water, Islander Rent A Car, Asks Fashion and Salon, KL Carr Enterprises and Budweiser. (Marconi Calindas)
