Police are looking into the death of another two-year-old boy, just days after another toddler was found dead inside a septic tank at a Chalan Kanoa home Sunday.

Department of Public Safety spokesman Eric David said the boy was rushed yesterday to the Commonwealth Health Center, where attending doctors declared the toddler dead. He did not reveal the boy’s identity.

David said that, although the boy had health problems based on medical history, investigators are not ruling out possible foul play. Probers will come up with their disposition of the case after the completion of the probe. Police did not reveal the circumstances behind the toddler’s death.

News about the toddler’s death came about as police continue their investigation on the death of another two-year-old boy Sunday morning.

Police initially reported that that boy was playing, while the mother was raking leaves from their yard. Later, the boy’s eight-year-old cousin found him inside a septic tank that was filled with water. The septic tank contained no wastewater yet, as it was still under construction.

David said the toddler’s body was to undergo autopsy yesterday to determine the cause of death.
