In the tropical islands of Micronesia, as in many countries around the world, the word “fiesta” represents fun, celebration and a warm cultural tradition. For Asia Pacific Hotels, the word “fiesta” will soon take on new meaning as the company transforms two of the islands’ historic beachfront properties into Fiesta Resorts:

* Fiesta Resort Guam, formerly Guam Dai-ichi Hotel will open on Sept. 1.

* Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan, a transformation of the Dai-ichi Hotel Saipan Beach, will re-open all its renovated rooms on Dec. 1.

“This is just the beginning of many new things to come. More than just a name change for Dai-ichi hotels, our guests will see two ‘new’ resorts that are strikingly different than before,” said APHI vice president Jerry Tan.

Carefully designed to offer a memorable vacation experience, guests will discover the warm hospitality and culture of Micronesia through modern tropical design. The new rooms feature nature’s colors of the sand and sea, inviting guests to relax in fresh contemporary surroundings.

“There will also be more entertainment, new food and beverage options, and activities for the whole family’s enjoyment,” said Tan. “But one thing will not change: our total focus on customer satisfaction. Our hotel group has begun a tradition of ‘service with a smile’ for all our guests and this is something you can expect from every member of our team.”

An affiliate of Tan Holdings Corp., Asia Pacific Hotels currently owns the Guam Dai-ichi Hotel, Dai-ichi Hotel Saipan Beach, Saipan Grand Hotel and Century Hotel on Saipan. (PR)
