DO SOMETHING ABOUT POOR BEACH QUALITY
I am a young man who likes to have fun in any possible way, but the one thing I really like to do with my friends is go to the beach. My main point here is that the water quality on the beaches around the CNMI is poor. I can see that people around the world come from far away to enjoy the beaches we have to offer, but I can see that the people don’t want to swim or even be at the beach because of the red flags.
It is sad to see that families can’t have their fun at the beaches anymore. They can’t swim, fish, or even be near the beaches. Pollution itself is harmful to the beaches and the fish, and it even hurts the coral reefs. Pollution even harms the tourism industry. It hurts to see the tourists not wanting to swim because of the red flags.
I hope that the beaches improve for the upcoming generation so that they could have their fun in the sun. I see that it is not fair for them, having to live with the poor water quality on the beaches, which destroys the beauty of the CNMI.

TO THE GOVERNOR
As you know, the funding for public schools is very poor, resulting in a lack of resources in schools.
Some schools in the CNMI cannot afford to buy textbooks that the students need because there is no money. In order for us to learn more about the outside world, we need more books.
Students are sometimes not able to learn because they do not have the supplies that they need. For us to do lab work we need more lab equipment. And for the history classes in the schools they need one of those large maps. I think if we have more school supplies, the students will learn more.
There are also schools that don’t have a gym. The students need a gym to practice for sports events, but they can’t because there is no money for them to build it.
So what I am trying to say here is to please try and spend the money on more important things. Think of what we students need for the schools.
