POWER Inc. elects new set of officers

The Pilipino Overseas Workers Empowerment, Inc. held an oath-taking ceremony for its new officers last May 8 at the 13th Fishermen Utt along Beach Road.
The new officers are Cesar Calalang, president; Ely Mindanao, vice president for external affairs; Benz Pineda, vice president for internal affairs; Meng Tabucol, vice president; Reggie Diesta, secretary; Delia Martin, treasurer; Fe Aquino, business manager; and Lina Domingo, Mabelyn dela Cruz and Beth Sisman, public information officers.
Marissa Martin was elected assistant secretary, Jojo Roque as assistant treasurer and Lita Macale as assistant business manager.
The group also elected their marshals: Allan Lasaga, Conrad Millena, Roger Lee Vina, Benz Ventura, Bong de Leon, Eduardo Paterson and Jimmy Eugenio.
Elected board of directors are Jun Concepcion, chair; Lito Marsilungan, vice chair; Rommel Bulatao, Gary Laboson, Jerry Encarnacion, Sally dela Cruz, Jimmy dela Cruz, Joel Linaogo Armando Macanantan, Jun de Leon, Basil Sioson, Emil Cabulteja, Alex Tamondong and Zoilo Galvez, directors.
Power Inc. advisers include Lito Estoque, Ronnie Doga, Reggie Diesta, Andy Martin, Dory Sison, Mario Aquilo, Rene Azucena. Reggie Diesta is also the group’s spokesman.
