Long-distance vendetta?
Since I have an environmental conscience, I don’t wish to add much more to the forest of trees that have died in vain over the daily diatribes of Dr. Jesus Camacho, so I’ll be brief. I’d just like to reiterate that Camacho’s long-winded rant shows yet again his enormous sense of self importance—perhaps he reads a bit too much into his first name. It has gotten to the point that one of his own family members basically stated what an embarrassment Camacho is in this very newspaper.
If Camacho cared a bit about this island, he’d be out here contributing to this island. Instead, he does nothing but carry out a vendetta against the governor of a place he has never been to and has little personal stake in. Other than the fact that I presume Camacho has very few social outlets, I can’t imagine why, other than being put up to it by someone, Camacho bases his life on hating the governor of a place thousands of miles away that he doesn’t live in.
As for his attempt to parallel himself to Jackie Robinson and Rosa Parks, I’ll simply have to accept the idea that perhaps he stays away from Saipan for fear of being declared 3/5’s a person, or having fire hoses and dogs turned on him, since there is so much racism against people of his ethnicity here. Perhaps when the doctor returns from orbit he can get back to working on math problems or whatever it is he does when he isn’t boring people.
