Those interested in joining the inaugural Flame Tree Film Festival have until today, April 11, to submit their entries.

“We’ve received quite a number of entries already, but we don’t want to exclude anyone,” explained FTFF organizer, Galvin Deleon Guerrero. “If you have even home-made videos, turn them in.”

Deleon Guerrero noted, however, that “films should keep in mind the family-oriented nature of the Flame Tree Festival.”

The Flame Tree Film Festival, which aims to be an annual event, will first feature motion picture work by local filmmakers in a non-competitive forum. Next year’s film festival, which coincides with the Flame Tree Arts Festival history 25th anniversary, will invite filmmakers from throughout the Pacific and Oceana to submit film entries for competition.

For more information on the FTFF, or to submit a film for the festival, contact Galvin Deleon Guerrero at 664-2213 or galvin@itecnmi.com. (PR)
