Six establishments closed for violating health regs

The Bureau of Environmental Health has ordered the closure of four establishments and two illegal vendors due to violations of health and sanitation standards and violation of rules and regulations.

The establishments are the Island Delight Restaurant in Susupe; the Chun Hyang Restaurant in Gualo Rai; the H-Mart Wholesale, Butcher and Market in Chalan Laulau; and the K’s Wow Pao Restaurant in Garapan. Their violations were not specified.

The illegal vendors are the US 168 Huang Ji Store in San Antonio and a roadside vendor with license plate number ABA 156.

Of the six, only the K’s Wow Pao Restaurant has re-opened after addressing the concerns raised by the bureau. The restaurant was closed on March 22 but it re-opened a day later.

The bureau conducted the sanitary inspections as part of its monthly monitoring.
