A lesson in manners
In a letter to the editor, Charles P. Reyes Jr. was referring to my father and my sister. My father is 75 years old, and can do whatever he wants as a paying customer in a theater. So what if he’s loud and expresses himself, he’s earned the right to do so, Charles, and the others who tried to shush him haven’t earned that right. I was told by my sister about the incident and found out that Charles was acting like a little child when my sister confronted him about his own behavior toward my senior citizen father by refusing to hear what my sister had to say. He also left out the fact that others who were around in the theater when my sister confronted him about his behavior agreed with my sister, not him. If anybody needs manners, it’s not my family, it’s him. He better get the facts straight before writing in the paper about my family. It’s his own fault and poor judgment. For someone who supposedly has an education, Charles P. Reyes Jr. has the poorest manners and etiquette. Only someone as childish as him would use the Saipan Tribune as a means to badmouth my family.
