The Attorney General’s Office has filed criminal charges against a woman for neglecting three underaged children in her custody.

The 28-year-old woman, whose name is being withheld, faces three counts of child neglect.

CNMI chief prosecutor David Hutton accused the woman of failing to provide “adequate supervision…with the result that the child[ren]’s physical or mental health and well-being are harmed or threatened.”

The woman allegedly committed the offense last January 6.
