Two marine sports agencies were recently ordered to cease operations after failing to renew their permits with the Coastal Resource Management.

CRM director Joaquin D. Salas issued warning notices to Island Marine Sports Inc., which operates a para-sailing establishment, and Blue Horizon Ent., Inc., a scuba dive tour establishment.

“Since you no longer have a valid CRM permit to continue your marine sports activities, you are hereby ordered to cease all your marine activities,” Salas said.

Operations may resume when their permits are renewed.

Both agencies were encouraged to renew their permits at the CRM office, and were given 30 days to comply with the notice. Failure to comply may result in the permanent termination of their marine sports permit.
