Power outage on Kiya 1

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp.’s Power Division will be scheduling a power outage today, Jan. 14, 2005 on Kiya 1 to Kanat Tabla, from 8:30am to 1:30pm.

This outage is needed to replace one 45’ power pole and one 40’ power pole. These power poles are rotten and poses a potential hazard. This interruption is necessary to allow CUC linemen to work on de-energized power lines safely.

This outage will affect the following areas: Kiya 1 Partial Lateral (3phase Circuit to Kanat Tabla); and Kanat Tabla from BIF Furniture towards the Saint Peter’s Chapel. All customers between these two areas will be affected.

No traffic lights will be affected.
