The Summer Pre-Law Program will be held from June 20 to July 8, 2005 at the Supreme Court in Susupe. The three-week program is open to college seniors and graduates who are interested in pursuing a law degree.

The Pre-Law Program will familiarize participants with the rigors of first year law school courses. There will be emphasis on legal writing as well as developing critical and analytical skills necessary to successfully complete the challenging first year law school curriculum.

Professor Robert J. Desiderio, former dean and law professor at the University of New Mexico School of Law, headlines this year’s list of instructors. Participants will have the opportunity to receive valuable insight and advice from participating attorney mentors. There will also be a workshop on the LSAT and the law school application process.

Enrollment in the Pre-Law Program is limited. For more information, contact William Appleton at the Supreme Court at (670) 236-9700 or e-mail wappleton@justice.gov.mp
