Coordinator Joey Dela Cruz said cancelled make-up games yesterday in the 2004 Government Basketball League will be played tonight and this evening’s scheduled game will be moved to next Monday, Jan. 17.

Dela Cruz also said a little swithcheroo would be made in tonight’s doubleheader, as the 6:30pm first game features original second-gamers Commonwealth Ports Authority opposite Department of Public Safety II.

The second game, beginning at 8pm, then pits defending champion Northern Marianas College going up against Office of the Public Auditor, which were first set as the first game.

The lone match on Jan. 17 will then have NMC taking on a perfect Public School System starting at 6:30pm.

The venue for both make-up play dates is still the ever-reliable Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium at the Oleai Sports Complex.

Dela Cruz said he made a decision to cancel Monday’s play date to allow teams and their players to observe the holiday.

He continued on to say that the rest of the make-up games on Tinain will push through as originally planned.

The basketball league specifically set up for the Common-wealth’s public servants go south to the Tinian Gymnasium in San Jose beginning Jan. 28, Friday, when Commonwealth Health Center takes on Tinian at 6:30pm. The next day, Saturday, CPA then takes a crack on Tinian beginning at 10am.
